“Number of seasons I will play for them is not decided yet”
“That will be confirmed only by the time I sign the agreement, but I will play for New Radiant in next season” He said.
It is believed that Victory offered the promising striker MRF200,000 and a two room apartment. To add more excitement to it, his island mate and Victory captain Imran Mohamed personally revealed his desire to have Tom in red jersey and said he is willing to spend on his own pocket for the striker.
Tom, who returned last month after completing an undergraduate degree in Accounting in Malaysia was a regular starting choice for New Radiant during his holidays. He is well noticed for his goal against Al Hussein of Jordan in AFC Cup 2005 quarter final match played in Male, which happened to be the goal that sent New Radiant to the semi final of the tournament; a level no other local club has reached so far.
